Best Time to Visit Varanasi

Varanasi is best visited during the dry and cold months of late October to early April. With the commencement of the major Indian festival season in October, you'll see one celebration after another in Kashi, the most notable of which is Dev Deepavali. In March, the Indian spring, you can have the opportunity to participate in Holi! Aside from that, winter is the only time you may try the famed Malaiyon! Varanasi is a must-see during the dry months of the Indian winter!

In the Indian plains, summer is terrible. During the rainy season, and endless downpour swells the Ganga and clogs the roads. Both seasons should be avoided.
